Romance

Once upon a time, I was on a train riding across New Mexico sitting in the lower level of the last cart heading east bound. The caboose rattled as the train went straight onward and off in the distance I saw another train ahead of ours pretty far away. Then slowly we began to catch up to it, as we moved closer, it moved pointed in our direction. The train curved around it’s bend and little by little it was closer to our track until the two train heads met one another way ahead of my last cart. I was looking out the window with one whole level of train above me of the caboose I was sitting in. Then the carts on opposite trains moved closer and closer until one moment it looked like the carts would collide as our train was still slightly ahead of the other. Then after each second it slanted in what looked like an imminent destructive mangle until in one instant the trains were moving straight parallel to one another with my train slightly ahead and much faster. After a few minutes of sharing two tracks next to one another our train surpassed the one next to us to my relief and was gone. All my life romance for myself and the women I encounter has been like two trains as we were on the same track but moving directly towards one another in our head on collision.
